Phuza (pronounced Pooh-za) is the Zulu term for drink and Thursday is the day on which wild South Africans get phuza’d. You will have a phuza face the next day but it is Friday so who cares!
According to UrbanDictionary, it is defined as “Phuza comes from the Zulu language in South Africa, meaning ‘drink’. Phuza Thursday is celebrated every Thursday in South Africa. The general nation consume alcohol marking the start of the weekend.”
